The Best Banana Waffles

Spread the love

This is a simple yet delicious spin on the Winner Waffles. The banana makes the waffles extra moist so they melt in your mouth. Oh so yummy!

| Makes: 4 servings | 4 waffles |

{ Ingredients }

1 egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cups almond milk
½ cup canola or olive oil (mild)
1 tablespoons agave nectar
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 ½ ripe bananas
½ teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

{ Directions }

  1. Preheat waffle iron. Beat the eggs in a large bowl until fluffy.
  2. Add the flour, almond milk, canola oil, agave nectar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and vanilla to the eggs. Mix until well blended.
  3. Smash the bananas in a separate small bowl and add them to the batter. Gently fold into the batter.
  4. Pour about ½ cup of mix into waffle iron. Cook until golden brown. Best if served with warm syrup.

Spread the love

I work here, there and everywhere as a model but I live in California. I love to cook to the tune of 20+ meals per week (that's every meal of the day everyday of the week except Friday night which is date night) ! I workout 6 days a week. I love my husband more than sweets (pinky swear) and think cold cereal is for babies. ;)
